At venues.com.au our passion for events is what drives us. The founders of venues.com.au, Margaret Michael and Katrina Michael have both enjoyed event management roles and bring this event planning experience to their venues.com.au ownership. In fact, venues.com.au was born out of a need for a one-stop resource in the marketplace to accommodate event managers when planning an event.

venues.com.au is a subsidiary of The Production House, Melbourne. venues.com.au debuted in 1998 in print as "The A-Z of Venues for Conferences and Events" and was launched by the Minister for Tourism and Small Business at that time, Louise Asher, MP. Two further editions followed - Venues.Com.Au Edition 2 (2000) and Venues.Com.Au Edition 3 (2002) before the product evolved to the comprehensive online events directory it is today

The electronic newsletter, enews, continues to gain momentum as a dynamic and interactive publication, embraced by executive assistants, event managers, festival organisers, and personal assistants.
