The Willows Hosts Corporate Showcase Event

The Willows Restaurant & Function Venue celebrated in middle eastern style on Thursday 14 March, 2013 with a colorful Arabian Nights Corporate Showcase. On this beautiful balmy night, guests were greeted by camels at the entrance to the venue, adding a magical and intriguing touch to the night.

The entertainment kicked off with a flash mob style dance routine of acrobatic and highly skilled dancers dressed as waiters and wearing bright red fez hats. The dancers were amazing – body flips in the air, breakdancing moves and a choreographed “gangham-style” routine. A photo booth complete with props took photos of guests. The roving entertainment included sheiks, a magician performing close-up magic, an exotically dressed singer/performer who sang and entertained the crowd, a tarot reader, a fire dancer and a projected screening of “Lawrence of Arabia” in the marquee. The Cupcake Queens’ individually boxed cupcakes for guests were sensational!

Event suppliers on the night were; Complete Function Hire, Décor It, Applause Entertainment, A Touch Of Flash, DJ Masters, FX Entertainment, The Cupcake Queens, The Candy Buffet Company and OMG Photobooths. MOR Cosmetics,  The Blackman Hotel, Treasury Wine Estates and Lucky Duck Cider sponsored wonderful prize draws on the night.

Food and beverages kept circulating all night with delicate and delicious canapés. The colourful candy buffet bar with all sorts of lollies and candies – complete with take-home lolly bags – topped off a wonderful night.
