Charlotte Bar & Bistro Captives With European Charm In Sydney’s Harbourside

Positioned on the harbourside suburb of McMahon’s Point, Charlotte Bar & Bistro is poised to enchant the senses and elevate the culinary landscape of Sydney. The highly anticipated dining destination will officially open its doors on Friday 13th October.

Guests will be transported to a timeless space boasting European charm which embodies Azabu Group’s commitment to creating exceptional dining experiences that resonate with a legacy of excellence and innovation.

Charlotte Bar & Bistro is led by Head Chef Hiroshi Manaka, who boast esteemed backgrounds in European Michelin-star kitchens. Hiroshi has trained in notable Michelin star restaurants throughout Europe including La Biggarade, Villa Crespi, Da Vittorio, Mugaritz and more recently LuMi Dining.

His expertise and passion for French cuisine promise an authentic, nostalgic, and avant-garde gastronomic experience. “Charlotte Bar & Bistro is extremely special. We have crafted a menu that pays homage to the rich culinary traditions of French cuisine while infusing our own unique touch. Each dish is a work of art, meticulously prepared to offer a truly unrivalled dining experience. We invite our guests to embark on a culinary journey with us, where every dish is a revelation of flavour and passion”, said Head Chef Hiroshi.

At the heart of Charlotte Bar & Bistro is a menu that promises to captivate and delight even the most discerning palates. The signature dish ‘Boeuf En-Croûte Royal’, is an exciting rendition of a French classic with an Azabu touch. The menu is a symphony of flavours that harmoniously blends tradition and innovation, and guests can relish in an array of dishes designed to share or opt for the banquet menu which is available for a minimum of four guests.

Charlotte invites up to 120 guests to dine throughout its captivating spaces including The Terrace, an enchanting outdoor space reimagined to the coastline of the French Riviera with lush greenery and natural sunlight during the day. Additionally, there are three bespoke private rooms all designed for intimate and personalised soirées including The Lumière, The Nocturne and the Function Room.

Officially the group’s fifth venue within 3 years, Azabu is renowned for its authentic Japanese culinary experiences with four venues and dining concepts operating in Sydney including Choji Yakiniku, Hanasuki, Chef’s Table and Kame House.
