House Canteen New Dining Destination at Sydney Opera House

Sydney Opera House has welcomed to its popular restaurant and bar line-up, House Canteen, a new dining destination on the Opera Kitchen site from Matt Moran and Solotel.

An all-day, canteen-inspired dining venue with jaw-dropping views of the spectacular Sydney Harbour, the lunch and dinner menu will draw from Asian cuisines and feature poke bowls, dumplings, rice paper rolls, sushi and Korean fried chicken. For breakfast enthusiasts, pastries, donuts and baked goods from Sydney’s best bakeries will be served alongside coffee from Single O. A wine list showcasing the best of Australian producers alongside beers and inventive cocktails will feature on the seasonal menu.

House Canteen co-owner Matt Moran says: “It’s hard to beat this waterside location at the Opera House. We’re thrilled to continue being part of such an iconic location for our city with House Canteen. It’s a relaxed and welcoming offering with plenty of crowd favorites on the menu.”
