New “Cellar & Store” For The Cosmopolitan Hotel In Trentham

A new room within the main hotel – referred to as the Cellar & Store – has opened at The Cosmopolitan Hotel, Trentham, VIC. It houses a fabulous produce selection (ranging from cheeses, crackers, charcuterie, oils, olives, grains, coffee, etc) and boasts one of the largest collections of Macedon Ranges wines under the one roof.

There is a regular event each month whereby a different local winery is featured, with the winemaker invited to share their stories over complimentary tastings. Last month’s winemaker arrived together with his trusty old record player and invited guests to choose a vinyl record to spin.

The unique space has garnered appraisal from guests on its ambience and character. The vibe is informal and relaxed and private parties and a few launches have been held here to date. Each function is individually catered for with catering ranging from snacks to canape or platters for larger functions. Private wine tastings can also be organised, followed by a delightful dining booking in the main hotel for your group.
