New Phase For Balaclava’s Moonhouse
Balaclava favourite Moonhouse is moving into an exciting new phase as it welcomes Executive Chef Scott Lord and Head Chef, Chris Cann. The venue will be running weekend Yum Cha Unlimited sessions, as well as adding karaoke to its private dining room, Moonhouse Upstairs, which, due to popular demand, is now open for regular bookings.
Moonhouse offers its Yum Cha Unlimited, a set menu of twelve shared dishes on repeat for $59pp, with an optional 2-hour unlimited drinks package for $49pp, including Stomping Ground for Moonhouse Czech Pilsner, Hop Nation ‘the Heart’ Pale Ale, and Mildura-made Mandi Pinot Grigio and MDI Friulano.
Above the main restaurant is Moonhouse Upstairs – the restaurant’s stunning 30 seat private dining room with a break-out space that can accommodate 10-12 guests standing – a private dining and event space with private entrance, toilets and fully equipped bar. Moonhouse offers a curated set menu of its best dishes and can cater to dietary requirements. This space seats up to 30 guests for a sit-down event.
Due to increased demand, the upstairs space will now be open for regular dining bookings, so diners can enjoy the beautiful space above.
You can discover Moonhouse at 282 Carlisle Street, Balaclava and is open for dinner Tuesday to Sunday, and for Unlimited Yum Cha and a la carte lunch Friday to Sunday, from 12pm. Visit the link below for more.
