Back in the day the Members Bar at Tattersall’s Club was the yesteryear scene of the ritualistic Monday morning settling by bookmakers and their clients. It is said that the Long Bar has witnessed the results of many a betting plunge – both successful and unsuccessful. The bar itself is distinctive with its maple panelling and overhead punkahs, reminiscent of Singapore’s Raffles Hotel.
